Hey all! Here's one of my two make ups. Hope you like it, revenge is always fun to write about. :)
The prompt: He didn't understand what he'd done to her, but he would by the time she was finished
My story:
Leila’s fingers danced
over the keys, her anger fueling the pace. The incriminating letter to Matt’s
boss practically wrote itself. She paused at the last line. Perhaps he hadn’t
known that his letter full of lies would lead not only to her termination, but
also to her family alienating her, her eviction from her house, and her fiancé
leaving her.
She pressed print.
She didn’t care. Just
as he hadn’t cared.
He didn't understand
what he'd done to her, but he would by the time she was finished. And she wouldn’t
stop until his life was as miserable as hers.
