It's Wednesday people! That means that I have another super short story for you all.
This week's prompt: She decided to go to her father's grave, to ask his advice.
My story:
Angie decided to go to
her father's grave, to ask his advice. He had always given the best
advice. She knelt near the headstone, grass now covering the place where he
lay.
“Hi Dad. It’s me
again. Big news: Steve asked me to marry him. I love him so much, but I need to
know you approve. Can you send me some kind of a sign, please? I love you, Dad.”
A familiar voice
sounded nearby.
“I love you too,
Angie.”
She looked up and saw him
standing next to her, alive and whole.
“Dad?”
He smiled, “I’ve
missed you.”
Now go check out every one else's stories too.

This has a lot of emotions rolled up into it. Hope for the future, pain of loss, and complete and total shock. It was fun to read.
