WonHundred Word Wednesday: The pink glove

Welcome, wonderful readers to WonHundred Word Wednesday! Let's get to it, shall we?

This week's promptThe pink glove lay on the ground, almost covered

My story:

“There, Princess, what do you think of that one?”

My fingers ache from lacing up gowns, but of course, she has to look “perfect.”

She stands in front of the mirror, a sour look on her face. “I don’t know! And it is time to leave! Find my other glove,” she orders.

The pink glove lay on the ground, almost covered by one of several discarded gowns. I quickly pull the dress over it, hiding my smile. “I’m sorry; you’ll have to go without it.”

She stomps her foot.  “Life’s not fair!”

I, her handmaid, know this is too true.

  2. Love it! Spoiled princess has such a 'hard life'. I love that her handmaid still has some spunk in her. :)
