WonHundred Word Wednesday: It was time.

It's the most wonderful time of the week! That's right, it's Wednesday again! I dedicate this week's story to all my WWW friends, but hope everyone else will like it too!

The prompt: It was time. She had fought against it for so long.

My Story:

Minutes turned to hours and hours turned to days. Try as she might, she couldn't wrestle this beast. It spoke to her, taunting her, teasing the corners of her mind. Others had emerged victorious, thus adding to the pressure to succeed.

It was time. She’d fought against it for so long, but she could wait no longer. It was already the midnight hour. She gingerly placed her fingers on the keyboard; staring down her opponent, so small, yet so powerful. Her vision blurred as she willed her mind to create. It was only 100 words. She only needed 100 words.

There you have it dear readers! Writer's block is an ever looming threat which must be conquered! Leave me a comment and don't forget to read these other awesome stories.
