WonHundred Word Wednesday: Tension

Hello, dear readers! It's Wednesday and I have another 100 word story for you.

The prompt: As soon as she walked in, she felt the tension

My story:

Jamie stood outside the doors, her stomach knotting painfully. Could she go through with this? She’d waited her whole life for this moment, and now the fear nearly overwhelmed her. Her hands were cold and sweaty and she rubbed them together fiercely.

The doors opened and music began to play. One last deep breath and she stepped forward.
As soon as she walked in, she felt the tension withdraw. Gary stood at the end of the aisle next to the altar, his smile filling her with peace. This was where she belonged. All fear gone, she walked forward to forever.

Hope you enjoyed it! Don't forget to check out the other stories too!
